As part of a premier APA bar association located in the heart of the Silicon Valley, our in-house attorney membership has grown to over 300 members. The In-House Committee provides a unique opportunity for APA in-house attorneys to network with other in-house attorneys and private practitioners, while promoting career growth and development and access to legal education programs targeted for in-house counsel. Neal Jagtap |

Neal Jagtap is Senior Product Counsel at eBay, where he supports the shopping experience and mobile product teams for the core eBay Marketplaces business.  He advises on marketing, privacy, intellectual property, and regulatory matters on a global basis.  Prior to eBay Neal served as in-house counsel to several e-commerce and enterprise technology companies in Chicago and the San Francisco Bay Area.  Neal began his legal career as a commercial litigator at Kirkland & Ellis in Chicago.  Between college and law school he served as an officer in the United States Air Force.  Neal earned a BSE from Princeton University and a JD and MPP from the University of Michigan.


Jenny is Senior Counsel at Amazon Lab126, which is the Amazon subsidiary located in Sunnyvale that designs, develops, and manufactures all Amazon-branded consumer electronics devices. She leads the legal team that supports the operations in managing the extensive supply chain and manufacturing activities.  Prior to her current position, Jenny worked at Apple, focusing on hardware development and engineering initiatives.  Jenny also spent a decade as a patent litigator at Kirkland & Ellis, working in both their NY and SF offices.  Jenny holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School and a B.A. from Rice University. 


Diana Luo |

Diana is a Senior Associate General Counsel at Walmart Global eCommerce (GEC). She currently leads the IP team for GEC which supports all IP litigation and pre-litigation disputes for Walmart U.S. and GEC, as well as GEC's patent portfolio.  Prior to joining Walmart, Diana spent most of her career at Morrison and Foerster, primarily practicing patent litigation. She is also a registered patent attorney.  Diana graduated with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering, magna cum laude, from UCLA, and holds a J.D. from Berkeley School of Law.


Maulik Shah |

Maulik Shah is Legal Counsel at Adobe Systems Inc., where he supports Adobe's Digital Media business. He advises product teams on privacy, intellectual property, and online services issues, and negotiates license and collaboration agreements with strategic partners. Prior to joining Adobe, Maulik was an IP and commercial litigator at Arnold & Porter and ad securities litigator at Wilson Sonsini.  He began his legal career as a law clerk the Honorable James Ware in the Norther District of California.  He hold a JD from Harvard Law School and is a registered Patent Attorney.
