Hogene Choi

Hogene is a partner at Morrison & Foerster LLP, working with clients at the forefront of the life sciences, healthcare, and technology industries on a range of intellectual property matters, focusing on patent prosecution, transactions, and counseling. Prior to her legal career, Hogene worked in Silicon Valley as a software engineer and as a technical project manager. Her current practice encompasses technologies in the areas of machine learning/artificial intelligence, bioinformatics, semiconductors, medical devices, electronics, nanotechnology, and the mechanical arts. Hogene is a Bay Area native and holds two degrees from the University of California: a J.D. from Hastings and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Berkeley.
