Mr. Henry Su

Henry Su is a partner in Constantine Cannon LLP, a litigation boutique specializing in cases involving antitrust, commercial disputes, intellectual property, technology, and the representation of whistleblowers. He is a resident of the firm’s Washington, D.C. and San Francisco offices, and a member of the California, District of Columbia, and Virginia bars.

Prior to joining Constantine Cannon, Henry worked for over six years at the U.S. Federal Trade Commission in Washington, D.C., where he held several senior positions. He was a trial lawyer in the Bureau of Competition’s Litigation Group, investigating and litigating anticompetitive merger and conduct cases, which included the Commission’s successful challenge to the merger of St. Luke’s Health System and Saltzer Medical Group in Idaho. Henry also served as an attorney advisor to both Chairwoman Edith Ramirez and Commissioner J. Thomas Rosch during their respective terms in office, providing counsel on antitrust/competition matters and issues coming before the Commission.

Before entering public service, Henry practiced for 20 years with several law firms in Virginia and California, doing trial and appellate work, alternative dispute resolution, and strategic counseling. Although he specialized in cases involving antitrust and intellectual property, Henry also tried and argued a number of cases involving bankruptcy, creditors’ rights, criminal, habeas corpus, civil rights, veterans and constitutional issues. 

Henry has a B.S. degree in Biology from Yale University and a J.D. degree from the University of Virginia School of Law. He is a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation and the Litigation Counsel of America.  He has also held leadership roles within a number of bar associations and community service organizations, including the American Bar Association, the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association, and the Federal Circuit Bar Association. He was recognized by Euromoney Institutional Investor PLC as a “Litigation Star” in the 2011 edition of Benchmark Litigation: The Definitive Guide to America’s Leading Litigation Firms and Attorneys.
