DATE: Thursday, July 20, 2017      TIME: 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM
LOCATION: USPTO, 2nd floor, Alaska Room

Many trials are won or lost when the jury is sworn.  But, while there’s no science to picking a jury, there is an art to jury selection.  Superior Court Judge, and former civil litigator, Erica Yew, Deputy District Attorney Pinaki Chakravorty, Public Defender Chris Yuen, and Dr. Florence Keller, Jury Consultant with Trial Analysis Group, will engage in a panel discussion moderated by NAPIPA President and Deputy District Attorney Paul Jhin about how they go about voir dire, jury questionnaires, challenging jurors for cause, and using peremptory challenges in order to get fair and impartial jurors.
