We are proud to announce that our 30th Anniversary Gala will be held on Friday, October 16, 2015 at the Levi's 501 Club Lounge in Levi's Stadium. This year, we will be hosting a silent auction and raffle at the event. Proceeds will support APABA-SV's scholarship program.

The Charles & Melita Jung Foundation (Jung Foundation) is sponsoring two public interest attorney scholarships to the 2015 NAPABA Convention. The scholarships are intended to encourage and make it easier for public interest attorneys to participate in NAPABA.
The award consists of the following: (1) Flight: the Jung Foundation will purchase for each recipients a round trip ticket from California to New Orleans, LA on Southwest Airlines; (2) Conference Registration: conference registration fee reimbursement at the NAPABA member public interest member rate (register by October 26, 2015); and for one of the two recipients (3) Hotel Stay: reimbursement for a 3-night stay at the Loews New Orleans Hotel.

The application deadline is October 9, 2015 (the scholarships will be reviewed on a rolling basis beginning 8/21/15, so the earlier the better). The Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Silicon Valley (APABA-SV) and the Vietnamese American Bar Association of Northern California (VABANC) are pleased to present a panel discussion on the ethical and practical considerations of co-counseling arrangements. The panel will discuss the practical benefits of legal representation by multiple firms, ethical considerations with such co-counsel arrangements, and practical advice on how to successfully manage the co-counsel relationship.
