You should have received information from your affiliate president about how to activate your NAPABA affiliate membership. Being an active affiliate member will not be sufficient for voting purposes beginning this year! You must activate your NAPABA membership! We are proud to announce that our 30th Anniversary Gala will be held on Friday, October 16, 2015 at the Levi's 501 Club Lounge in Levi's Stadium. This year, we will be hosting a silent auction and raffle at the event. Proceeds will support APABA-SV's scholarship program.
We are seeking donation items in the following categories: travel, dining, event tickets, gift cards, wine/food, sports memorabilia, etc. If you or anyone you know would like to make a donation, please contact the APABA Silicon Valley Gala Co-Chairs.

Each year the Diversity Committee of the Santa Clara County Bar Association presents the Unsung Heroes Awards, recognizing individuals and organizations in our community, regardless of ethnicity, who have demonstrated a long-standing commitment to encouraging the advancement of minorities in the legal profession or promoting equal access to the administration of justice for individuals.

Preparing for interview season? Trying to figure out what kind of practice you would like to apply for? Come to APABA-SV’s annual resume and mock interview workshop, organized by the Mentorship and Women in Law Committees. This year’s workshop will feature small group discussions with big and small law firm attorneys, company counsel and government lawyers to give students an inside look at what they do in their day-to-day and how recruiting works at their organizations. Afterwards, law students will break off with attorneys for resume and interview practice and review. Bring an extra resume!As this event features individualized counseling, please RSVP here!

The Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Silicon Valley (APABA-SV) and the Vietnamese American Bar Association of Northern California (VABANC) are pleased to present a panel discussion on the ethical and practical considerations of co-counseling arrangements.
