AABA’s Employment Committee invites everyone to the AABA 28th Annual Summer Law Clerk Reception, to be held on Thursday, June 11, 2015, from 6:00 to 8:30 pm at Hotel Nikko (25th Floor, 222 Mason Street, San Francisco).

The Reception is one of AABA’s most popular events and provides an ideal setting for Bay Area students, summer associates, and law clerks to mingle and connect with API partners! During the Reception, AABA will recognize this year’s summer grant recipient for their dedication to community service and client advocacy.

APABA Silicon Valley Civil Rights/Community Service Committee Volunteer Opportunity: Arastradero Preserve Cleanup

Come volunteer with the Civil Rights/Community Service Committee on Saturday, June 20, 2015 with Acterra from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the scenic Arastradero Preserve!

Acterra (http://www.acterra.org/) is an environmental education and action non profit serving the Silicon Valley. Volunteers help with habitat restoration, carbon reduction, and other programs.

Please bring a reusable water bottle and dress for outdoor work (study closed-toe shoes, long pants, and a hat are recommended). Everything else and a light snack is provided. This will be a great opportunity to spend time outdoors in the beautiful Arastradero nature preserve and meet fellow APABA members.

  • Two legal writing samples (i.e. legal brief or comparable document) which you solely authored
  • Law School Transcripts (including name, school name, and conferred JD date)
