The In-House Committee of APABA Silicon Valley is glad to announce that a delegation from the Japan Patent Office has found time in their busy schedule to meet with APABA members. The delegation will present information about patent law and patent prosecution in Japan, followed by a Q&A session. The delegation will be generously hosted by Wilson Sonsini, but attendance is limited to 20 people. Afterwards, there will be a short reception where attendees will have the opportunity to interact directly with JPO Examiners.

Come to APABA-SV’s annual resume and mock interview workshop, organized by the Mentorship and Women in Law Committees. This year’s workshop will feature small group discussions with big and small law firm attorneys, company counsel and government lawyers to give students an inside look at what they do in their day-to-day and how recruiting works at their organizations. Afterwards, law students will break off with attorneys for resume and interview practice and review. Bring an extra resume!
