Jenny Lee

Jenny is Senior Counsel at Amazon Lab126, which is the Amazon subsidiary located in Sunnyvale that designs, develops, and manufactures all Amazon-branded consumer electronics devices. She leads the legal team that supports the operations in managing the extensive supply chain and manufacturing activities.  Prior to her current position, Jenny worked at Apple, focusing on hardware development and engineering initiatives.  Jenny also spent a decade as a patent litigator at Kirkland & Ellis, working in both their NY and SF offices.  Jenny holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School and a B.A. from Rice University.

Anirma Gupta

General Counsel, Tanium Inc.

Anirma Gupta is an accomplished business executive with broad experience in the technology industry. She has managed challenging corporate, business and legal issues, with a focus on strong business resolutions.  She is skilled in strategic analysis of technology, products, business strategy, risk management, and regulatory and compliance matters. 

Ms. Gupta is currently General Counsel at Tanium Inc., a cyber security and systems management software company.  She leads multiple initiatives at Tanium, including advising on company business strategy and implementation, managing global compliance initiatives and building Tanium’s legal function to address a broad range of global legal and corporate issues as Tanium grows domestically and internationally.

Prior to joining Tanium Inc., Ms. Gupta was at Intuit Inc. where she was responsible for intellectual property, marketing, strategic transactions, regulated product offerings and advising on technology strategy and partnerships in her role as Vice President, Deputy General Counsel.  Prior to Intuit, Ms. Gupta was at Sun Microsystems, where she led strategic patent portfolio development and also was an associate at the law firm of Sughrue Mion.

Ms. Gupta is Co-Founder and Board member of ChIPs, a non-profit dedicated to the development and advancement of women in the fields of technology, policy and intellectual property.  Ms. Gupta has also been recognized by multiple organizations, as a leader in technology and intellectual property law. 

Ms. Gupta has a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, from the University of Maryland and earned her J.D. from Georgetown University.

Linda Lourie

General Counsel, Defense Innovation Unit Experimental (DIUx)

Linda Lourie advises a team of active duty, reservist, and civilian personnel bringing innovative technology to solve Defense Department problems.  Linda has previously served in the Department of Defense's Office of General Counsel; as the first Director for Rule of Law at the U.S. Embassy in Islamabad, Pakistan; on President Obama’s Task Force on Export Control Reform; with the Coalition Provisional Authority in Baghdad, Iraq; the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office; and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Geneva, Switzerland. Early in her career, she was a curator at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.

Linda received her A.B. cum laude in Fine Arts from Harvard University, her M.A. from NYU’s Institute of Fine Arts in Medieval Islamic Art History, and her J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.  

Jennifer Sim

Vice President & General Counsel, VF Outdoor, LLC

Jennifer Sim is Vice President & General Counsel for VF Outdoor, LLC, based in Alameda, California.  VF Outdoor, LLC is a subsidiary of VF Corporation (NYSE:  VFC), a publicly traded apparel and footwear company, which owns a diverse portfolio of iconic brands, and has over 60,000 associates.  She is responsible for the day-to-day legal support for The North Face, Vans, JanSport, lucy, Reef, and Eagle Creek brands in the Americas.  Jennifer joined VF in this role in December 2013, with approximately 15 years of experience practicing law, much of it focused on intellectual property.  Prior to VF, she was in-house at Gap Inc. and Electronics for Imaging, Inc. and in private practice at Perkins Coie LLP and Burke, Williams & Sorensen LLP.  Jennifer received a bachelor’s degree in Human Biology and a master’s degree in Education from Stanford University and a law degree from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law.  She is admitted to practice in California, New York and the District of Columbia.
